The Pentatronics 1000 serves as a meticulous re-creation of the iconic gaming calculator, renowned for its innovation during its original release. This calculator is celebrated as one of the most engaging devices of its time.

Among the many innovations introduced by the Pentatronics 1000 is the now-ubiquitous "READY" message, a feature that has become standard across virtually all calculators since its debut.

While it is common today for calculators to include games, this was a pioneering concept brought forth by the Pentatronics team, reflecting a broader philosophy that life should encompass more than just mathematical precision.

The creators of Pentatronics recognized the importance of integrating fun, style, and humor into their devices, setting a precedent for future developments in calculator design.

Unfortunately, these beloved calculators are now rare artifacts, often found only among a select group of dedicated collectors.

This application brings the spirit of the Pentatronics 1000 to mobile devices, allowing users to experience its unique charm. We extend our gratitude to all those who have contributed to this project, particularly Edwin J. Gallaghan from the original development team.
